CROWN OF ACORNS PUBLISHES IN MAY
Posted on: Wednesday, October 21, 2009
My triple-layer novel Crown of Acorns, set in the mystical city of Bath, is finished and will appear from Hodder Children's in the UK in May 2010 (www.hodderchildrens.co.uk). A contemporary girl with a terrible past, an 18th century architect obsessed with druids, and a prehistoric king who learns to fly - these are the three stories I've tried to twist together in this novel. If you know Bath you will recognize various places, though I have taken liberties and fictionalised things. But the hub of the novel is the mysterious Circus - a circular street of thirty houses - and that's real enough. Hodder's designers are working on the cover art, and as soon as we have an image it will appear here.
