The Red Gloves and Other Stories will be published on 16th September by Firefly Press, in a lovely little hardback with red sprayed edges and a bookmark. The illustrations for each chapter are by the wonderful Anne Glenn, who also did the covers for the Clockwork Crow trilogy; they are highly atmospheric.
It was a pleasure to collect these stories and write some new ones; short stories are a refreshing challenge after longer novels, and a chance to experiment with ideas that might develop into something longer.
